Titanic. i don't thnk it was meant to be a horror/action flick, but it sure as hell left me feeling unsettled and paranoid. mostly over having to hear Celine Dion for the next year against my will.

something tells me i have a pink slip coming this friday. i'm actually kind of happy about it.

yeah pink slip can mean either a title of ownership for a car or a notice of employment termination. i dunno, maybe not, but i know they're getting ready to do it if they feel they need to. and yeah, if i got fired i could probably claim unemployment for a few weeks and focus on applying to grad schools.

When I went on unemployment, I pushed it to the max.  6 months of goofing off and day trading on the stock market.  Of course, I had to do the job contact thing, but that was pretty easy too.  Blowing it on interviews was becoming harder toward the end though.  If my greed didn't get a hold of me and wipe out my hardly earned, I'd probably still be doing the stock market thing.

Best of luck with whatever you decide to make of this, Dys.  From my experience, it can be a blast and a nice extended vacation. 

yeah, it'd look a bit better if san diego wasn't so expensive, but i'll manage one way or another. regardless, getting out of my current job will be a step in the right direction.
